Local author Dave Emmi will present his book Garibaldi's Forgotten American. The Obscure Life of William de Rohan.听The son of Swedish immigrants in the United States, De Rohan fought with Garibaldi for the Unification of Italy. 聽Mr. Emmi's book finally聽tells his story and聽brings to light interesting ties between Italy and Philadelphia.
This event is part of the Undergraduate Lecture Series to which the general public is warmly invited.
