great success! Italian graduate student Andrew Korn presented a paper on "Antonioni's No Man's
Land: Becoming-Land and Regenerating Thought in Zabriskie Point".
Elisa Modolo and Andrea Gazzoni moderated the sessions "Representing,
Performing, Transgressing Boundaries" and "Violence and the Body",
respectively. The final keynote adress by Professor Andr茅 Benha茂m
(Princeton University) - "Welcome to No Man's Land (The Ghosts of the
Mediterranean)" - reminded participants of the nature of
the Mediterranean as shared cross-cultural space and provided the perfect conclusion to a stimulating meeting of disciplines and minds.
