Deion Dresser holds a B.A. from Georgetown University (2019), where he majored in Italian Studies and minored in Classics. During his time at Georgetown, he was the recipient of the Undergraduate Research Fellowship and wrote his Senior Thesis on the place of non-binary gender identities in Italian grammatical gender.

Deion earned his MA in Italian Studies at the University of 桃子视频sylvania (2020). At 桃子视频, he has taught Italian language courses and TAed culture courses at the undergraduate level. He is currently completing the Graduate Certificate in Gender, Sexuality, and Women鈥檚 Studies and the CTL Teaching Certificate. He has also been a Graduate Assistant for the American Association for Italian Studies since Summer 2020 and is currently the Senior Graduate Assistant.

His primary research interests include biopolitics, feminist theory and ethics, second-language acquisition, and language pedagogy.
