Italian Contributions to Knowledge

Oct 18, 2014 at

Italian history seems animated by the desire to cross the borders of the peninsula and to establish Italianness within a global horizon, bringing it face to face with other societies and different local realities. From Marco Polo鈥檚 adventurous voyage to the heroic era of geographic discoveries, from Galileo鈥檚 cosmic exploration to the diaspora of the great migration, Italians continue to travel the world peacefully, carrying with them 听the strength of their cultural traditions as well as听Italian know-how, methods, and technologies.
